Renovation of classic lighting in Alicante
Work carried out for the Alicante City Council to improve energy efficiency in the public lighting of L'Esplanada, the most emblematic promenade of Alicante.
The action was aimed at reducing energy consumption, improving the quality of lighting through the implementation of LED lighting with white light with a color temperature of 4000ºK and a suitable color rendering index, also reducing the cost of maintenance as the useful life of LED luminaires is around 80,000 hours equivalent to approximately 9 years and, on the other hand, reducing light pollution.
Luminaires with 150 W VSAP lamps and double level electromagnetic flux reducer were replaced with LED luminaires of 4000ºK color temperature and 50 W power, with the possibility of regulating the emitted flux.
