C.M. SALVI, S.L. (hereinafter SALVI) is an organization dedicated since 1981 to the design and manufacture of Lighting Elements for Public Lighting and other associated items, mainly focused on COLUMNS, LUMINAIRES and street furniture (Benches, Fountains and Shelves).

 

Faithful to the original desire to contribute to the improvement of the urban environment through the service provided to its customers, SALVI seeks to have an active and supportive presence in the society to which it belongs and aims for the highest projection in the market by developing its activity in a serious and respectful way with people and the environment.

 

That is why SALVI is a creative, flexible, responsive and efficient organization, equipped with the latest technologies in industrial design and manufacturing that offers a high level of customer satisfaction.

 

SALVI is also directly involved in the effort to make economic development compatible with environmental protection, decarbonization and energy efficiency, and safety at work, in order to provide future generations with a prosperous and healthy environment. The application to our activity of this concept of sustainability implies compliance with the applicable legal, regulatory and other requirements to which the organization subscribes in terms of occupational risk prevention, environment and energy management, as well as the setting of short and medium term objectives to minimize environmental impacts, efficiency and occupational risks during the provision of the service.

 

This is how it establishes and develops its Management System aimed at the full satisfaction (intrinsic and extrinsic) of its customers.

 

The basis of this policy is the promotion of continuous improvement in a safe and sustainable environment, which is defined and supported by the following criteria:

  • Orientation towards the creation of sustainable value based on profitability and sustained profit, avoiding costs caused by defective work, delays and, in general, any activity that does not provide real added value.
  • Commitment to the environment and focus on the sustainability of the products and services provided.
  • To comply with all legal and regulatory requirements related to all areas of the company.
  • Reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions, increasing efficiency and introducing the use of renewable energies, under criteria of economic and environmental sustainability, both in purchasing and production processes.
  • Efficiency and excellence in internal management by developing and implementing an integrated quality and sustainability management system, including occupational risk prevention, economic, technical, legal, social and environmental protection aspects, based on corporate guidelines and international criteria.

  • Priority to the preventive approach in the development of processes to ensure the safety and health of workers, with respect to the approach based on correction.
  • Adoption of measures to reduce damage to the environment as a result of our own activities and those of our suppliers and contractors, minimizing the environmental impact of production processes during purchasing and manufacturing, as well as during the life cycle of our products, and promoting their recyclability at the end of their useful life.

  • Collaboration with customers and suppliers, creating relationships based on trust, loyalty, transparency and mutual respect and adopting processes and organizational structures with approaches aimed at facilitating the relationship and meeting their expectations. Create a purchasing culture and policy based on the use of suppliers with a commitment to sustainability, environment and labor rights.
  • Communication of our achievements and future plans in a truthful and transparent manner.

This policy must be known and applied by everyone at C.M. SALVI S.L. and will be developed through a documented system and made available to all interested parties.

Annex I_1. Information Security Policy

C.M. Salvi as a company dedicated to the development and manufacture of luminaires and remote management systems for street and road lighting luminaires, recognizes information security as a fundamental aspect for the development of its Samrtec lighting management platform.

The information is exposed to risks and threats, the possible materialization of which can cause the loss of information and jeopardize the proper functioning of the Smartec platform. C.M. Salvi has implemented an information security system based on the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 reference standard, guaranteeing the continuity of the information systems, minimizing the risks of damage and ensuring compliance with the objectives set to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information at all times.

Management's commitment is based on the following aspects:

● Establish a security management system through concrete measures and integrate information security into all processes of the organization.

● Periodically analyzing the information security risks to which the company is exposed, implementing improvement plans for a progressive reduction of such risks.

● Promote staff awareness of security issues, establishing responsibilities and roles, and carrying out the necessary training actions to maintain the effectiveness of this information management system.

● Promote a secure use of the facilities and computer elements, controlling access to them and establishing security parameters.

● Protect the confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity and traceability of information, both internal and external.

● Establish mechanisms to manage information security incidents, and establish the necessary processes to ensure business continuity in the event of possible incidents.

 

These principles are assumed by the General Management, which makes available the necessary means and provides its employees with sufficient resources for their compliance, expressing them and making them public through this Information Security Policy.
